haunting fears

Worrying stinks. It makes me tired and irritable.

I have read and read about how worrying does not help a situation. I can know these things but the devil still likes to work on me. It is just a matter of overcoming these fears.

I am ready for my appointment to be over on Monday!!!

  2. "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."

My memory verse from last week was John 16:33

"I have told you these things so that in ME you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble but take heart!
    I have overcome the world!"

How I have needed that reminder this week.
I pray it blesses you as well!!

    Love and prayers,

  3. One more thing I want to add is this.
The enemy knows that he can paralyze us in our fear if we allow him to. I get a few verses that combat that and repeat them out loud over and over again. Use God's Word to do battle but speak it out loud because the devil is not a mind reader. In the name of Jesus he has to flee.

If we are paralyzed with fear, we cannot do anything else and the evil one knows that.

It is human nature to be afraid, but I am recalling in scripture all the times the Lord sent his messengers and the very first words out of their mouths was "Fear not!"

  4. We will be claiming "good news" tomorrow and waiting anxiously to hear more miracles. Remember to take those negative thoughts captive and replace them with the many promises of Jesus. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD is the one who goes before you. He will be with you; He will never fail you or forsake you.
